In 2018, our Foundation introduced Chance for Hope Enchanted Night, a magical evening of music, dancing and excitement for teenage cancer patients of Texas Children’s Hospital. This is an annual event occurring each fall that is free of charge for patients and their guests. The Foundation also subsidizes patients’ outfits for the evening, in addition to providing for professional hair and make-up. Enchanted Night is open to all teenage cancer patients of TCH, including those who are not currently in treatment.

Chance for Hope Enchanted Night is a fun, social and magical experience for teenage cancer patients. Our objective is to create an environment where teens can be teens. We know all too well that kids with cancer can feel isolated, and that sometimes socialization can be challenging, particularly for teenagers. Our goal is to help these teens break down some of those barriers, and boy do they! At Enchanted Night, there is a transformation that is so special – kids making new friends and breaking out of their shells. It is such a beautiful sight to see.
